Applying for Hearth Housing
Step 1: Learn About Hearth Housing
Hearth housing is available to low income seniors age 55
and up. |
Review Hearth's locations and choose which sites you would like to apply for. If you have
questions about any of the residences, contact Dawn Matchett, Director of Intake and Resident Placement (contact information
at right).
Step 2: For Hearth at Burroughs Street, Hearth at Olmsted Green, & Uphams Corner ElderHouse
To apply for housing at these three sites, you
must first complete the
Boston Housing Authority (BHA) application. Please
make sure to mark the sites on the "Moderate Rehabilitation and Housing Choice Voucher Project Based Programs Choice(s)
Form" that is part of the application.
Only applicants on the BHA wait list are elegible for these three sites.
Step 3: Complete the Hearth Housing Application

Hearth's Housing Application is for individuals 55 years and older who are interested in living at one of
Hearth's supported housing sites or Hearth's Ruggles Affordable Assisted Living Community.
