Young professionals from the Analysis Group have been donating their time and expertise to work on a cost-benefit analysis for housing homeless elders, as well as on a report that better measures the real number of homeless older adults in Boston. With the support of Drs. Judith Gonyea and Sara bachman from the Boston University School of Social Work, Hearth completed research that helps demonstrate the importance and effectiveness of service-enriched housing for the elderly homeless in Massachusetts. Foster and support public commitment ot the prevention and elimination of elder homelessness
Hearth participated in the Commonwealth's Interagency Council on Housing and Homelessness, with Mark Hinderlie co-chairing the Housing Production and Stabilization Working Group.
