National Leadership Initiative
We want to bring the Hearth Model to other communities around the country who face, and wish to solve, the crisis of elder homelessness.
Goals of the initiative:
- Identify a community elsewhere which has the right elements in place to support the Hearth Model
- Proceed to develop and to operate a project in conjunction with local partner demonstarting the adaptability of the Heath model and its effectiveness in a variety of contexts
- Learn from our experience in order to inform future growth, to inspire others to join with us, and ultimately to strengthen our capactiy to provide leadership in bringing about the end of elder homelessness in our country
