earth's Strategic Vision: Three Initiatives

Elder homelessness involves a unique set of issues very different from those surrounding family homelessness. For the elderly, the ravages of homelessness accelerate the ravages of aging: of increasing frailty, of chronic disease, of impaired mental function, and of loneliness and isolation. Hearth has created a model of supportive housing and services coupled with outreach which can bring elders into permanent housing successfully.

Under the leadership of Hearth President and CEO Mark Hinderlie and staff, The Board of Directors has formulated three strategic initiatives designed to further our mission.
