Food for the Body & Soul
SOLD OUT
Food for the Body & Soul is a cookbook created to benefit Hearth and help homeless elders. The ARISE group at St. Julia Parish in Weston collected over 300 recipes—ranging from appetizers to desserts, from "Amaretto Pie" to "Zucchini and Tomato Casserole"— from many people, including individuals from 18 different local parishes. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Hearth.
Some of Hearth's own staff, Board of Visitor members, and a resident contributed recipes. President and CEO Mark Hinderlie shared his delicious recipe "Striped Bass Tuscan Style" and Social Worker Kathy MacDonald shared her mouth-watering recipe for "Chocolate Orange Cheesecake."
Everyone at Hearth would like to thank the ARISE group at St. Julia Parish in Weston for all of their hard work. Sales of the cookbook raised over $13,000 for Hearth. Thank you!
