Dana Green, Chief Advancement Officer

A seasoned fundraiser and event planner, Dana joined Hearth in the summer of 2016 to the lead the Institutional Advancement department. Her career in fundraising began at the USS Constitution Museum in Charlestown, MA, as their Development Officer. In that position, Dana focused on Board relations, fundraising events, and major gifts. After the birth of her first child, she moved back home to Connecticut to take a position at Mystic Seaport Museum in their Advancement office.  During her tenure, Dana was part of the fundraising project Sail the MORGAN 2014 and produced the Museum’s galas.  When the campaign successfully concluded, Dana moved back to Boston.

Dana is active in the local Boston community, volunteering her skills to help raise funds for her daughter’s elementary school and most recently served as a Vice Chair on the Commissioning Committee for the USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), launched in Boston on December 1, 2018.

A Navy brat, Dana has lived in three countries and five states.  She holds two degrees, a BA in History from University of Connecticut and a MLA in Museum Studies from Harvard University.
