Eileen Marra, Director of Evaluation & Strategy
Eileen was promoted to Hearth’s Senior Management team in 2015 leading projects in performance measurement, quality assurance, and change management. Previously, as Senior Outreach Case Manager, she led Hearth’s team of housing advocates in refining their housing strategy, improving data organization, as well as initiatives to increase and nurture team collaboration and productivity. During her time in Outreach, Eileen successfully placed over 60 homeless elders from Boston’s homeless shelters and streets into permanent affordable housing. She started at Hearth in 2010 as an intern in the Institutional Advancement Department surveying third parties and reviewing multiple internal databases to develop a more comprehensive picture of the elders Hearth serves. Eileen began serving older adults in 2008 on the stroke unit of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and social work from Rutgers University, and a master’s degree from Boston University School of Social Work with a Lowy-GEM Certificate in Gerontological Social Work.
