Invaluable Volunteers: Hearth's 2009 Volunteer Appreciation Reception

Central to Hearth's mission to end elder homelessness is the idea of community. Having newly housed elders reestablish a sense of community is key component to their success. Volunteers greatest contribution to Hearth is providing that sense of community.

In addition to recognizing this year's Outstanding Service Award recipients, Hearth is happy to welcome Lesley University to the Hearth Community. A resident art show will showcase the creations that Hearth residents have made with Art Therapy intern Karin Mensing.
