Education & Enrichment: Enrich the lives of our elders

Run an arts 'n crafts project with residents or lead a presentation or discussion on topics such as health, arts & culture, current events, local history. Past activities include beading lessons, presentations on managing diabetes, a theater group, and making collages.

• Currently looking for an individual to work with residents on-on-one and teach basic computer skills (everything from how to use a mouse to how to send an email)
• We ask that volunteers supply any materials necessary for the project or presentation, though we may occasionally be able to provide some materials.
• We suggest volunteers bring a snack such as popcorn, fruit, or cookies for the residents.
