Hearth - Ending Elder Homelessness

Remembering Bob Wright

Memorial Fund Will Help Others Find Homes

Bob WrightHearth mourns the passing of Bob Wright, a resident at Ruggles Assisted Living Community in Roxbury. While he lived at Hearth, Bob generously shared his story with Hearth and the community, notably in a short film shown at Hearth's Annual Meeting in November 2008 and now available on our web site. Bob's obituary was featured in The Boston Sunday Globe on August 16.

The Bob Wright Memeorial Fund

Bob's friends have established the Bob Wright Memorial Fund in memory of Bob and his commitment to supporting the elder homeless community. These funds will be used to support the Hearth Outreach Program to help homeless elders find permanent housing and supportive services, with a particular interest in helping elders with funds for emergency needs to ensure their well being.

Checks should be made payable to Hearth, with "BWMF" written on the memo line. You can also make an online donation to Hearth through Community Room.Net, with "BWMF" as the special designation.
